ALL SAINTS' CHOIRS
The parish is blessed to enjoy the offerings of three choirs.
The adult choir rehearses Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. and sings
the regular Sunday morning service three or four times each month.
Anyone from the ninth grade on is welcome to join this group.
They have the months of June and July off.
There are no special skills required for the choir other than a
desire to sing and the to attend as regularly as possible.
Margit Miller is the organist/choirmaster.
St. David's Choir consists of children from 3rd through 8th
grade. Recently, graduates of this choir have fed the adult choir.
St. David's sings each month, in addition to providing the
music for the early service on Christmas Eve.
Children who are in kindergarten, first, or second grade may
join the St. Cecilia's Choir. This group also sings once each
month. Kathy Buechner directs both of these groups.
All three choirs follow the guidelines and adhere to the
standards of the Royal School of Church Music.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
All Saints has activities for members of all ages.
The parish uses the "Rotation System", where each week
the children attend a different learning station. Current stations
in the planning stages are drama, arts and crafts, Bible stories,
computer lab, and movies.
We currently have classes for age three through grade 6.
Children in grades seven through twelve who attend EYC spend one
hour each month in class with Fr. Buechner.
The Rector also teaches a class for adults and older children on
Sunday mornings.
EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN
The ECW meets once each month from September through May for
fellowship and a program. This body raises substantial amounts of
money through the annual bazaar and auction, which proceeds are
given to local and diocesan charities.
EPISCOPAL YOUNG CHURCHMEN
The EYC is open to children in grades 7-12. They meet twice each
month, once for a fun program and once for a serious program led by
Fr. Buechner - which can also be fun! The EYC, like the ECW, is a
service arm of the parish. This year the EYC held an Italian
Dinner, giving the proceeds to help fund the new playground. They
also help serve during the auction, and have for the last several
years organized a Halloween Carnival for the younger children of
the congregation.
